Maria Sharapova is officially off the market because her and beau  former NBA player Sasha Vujacic got engaged. Vujacic has played for the LA Lakers and New Jersey Nets, but currently he plays for Anadolu Efes S.K., which is a Turkish basketball team. The couple met at a bbq in 2009 and went public as a couple at a U2 concert later that year. Both have been known to appear at each other’s matches/games to support one another and Vujacic isi known for his nervous tendencies when watching. Apparently he gets very sweaty watching her play due to all the nerves (that’s what he told Karen Crouse at the New York Times).

Their bond as athletes and understanding of perspective in the world have helped them bond as a couple. They both love to take afternoon naps and enjoy the time off to do absolutely nothing. The pair haven’t set a wedding date yet, but they are searching for a house together in the LA area. Congratulations!

Maria Sharapova’s boyfriend is the incredibly good looking Charlie Ebersol. The son of NBC Sports President Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint, Charlie is a filmmaker who specializes in making documentaries. Rumors that he was dating the tennis superstar began on September 2008.

One documentary he made, entitled Never Stop Learning, tackles the education of the South African Youth. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Plus, he graduated from the prestigious University of Notre Dame. And, I think he is rich. I would definitely want to date a guy like Charlie.

Another interesting fact about him is how he had survived a plane crash in which his brother died. Perhaps it was fate that God saved him for Maria, and they are meant to be together. Whether their love will stand the test, only heaven knows. But at the moment, they are looking real good.
